ENJOY THE RIDE
Andrés Cruz is an illustrator and 2D artist with a degree in Graphic Design from Taller Cinco Centro de Diseño. He began his commercial career working with major advertising agencies like VML, creating pieces for clients including Mattel, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and TNT.
As a comic creator and graphic novelist, Andrés co-authored Los Once, a historical fiction graphic novel inspired by the Palace of Justice siege, which is widely recognized for its contribution to Colombia’s historical memory. He is also the creator of CONDEMNARUM, an epic post-apocalyptic comic miniseries. Additionally, he illustrated and led the art team for NOVOPANGEA, a fantasy universe distributed worldwide via digital assets. His freelance portfolio also includes illustrations for music videos and artistic contributions to national publications like Viñeta Violeta, GoUp Cómics, La Gorgona, and Entre Las Sombras.
Internationally, his artwork has been selected and published in premier editorial showcases, including World of Warcraft Tribute, Capcom Fighting Tribute by Udon Entertainment, and Imagine FX Sketchbooks. Currently, Andrés works as a commercial illustrator and colorist for global independent comics.
